Tilda Swinton is the new face of Chanel's "Metiers d'Art Paris-Edimbourg collection," which (as the name proposes) has a Scottish theme.
Although the lanky, 52-year-old, Oscar-winning actress was born and raised in England, she has Scottish family.
Chanel has depicted her wearing rich, dark faux tartan samples.

Amanda Seyfried for Givenchy A/W 2013
Posted on Fri, 24 May 2013 12:04
For Givenchy's autumn/winter 2013 crusade, creative director Riccardo Tisci has enlisted his fashion 'family' including actress Amanda Seyfried and stylish mother-daughter duo Carine and Julia Roitfeld.
As well as being a man of numerous talents, Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci is also a man of numerous fabulous friends. For his autumn/winter 2013 crusade he has enlisted a handful of his most beautiful, including Carine Roitfeld and her daughter Julia, and Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried to pose in his gyspsy-inspired, Bambi-adorned wares.

Nicole Kidman wears Hathaway's Oscar dress in Cannes

Here is Nicole Kidman, with Ang Lee, at the Palais in Cannes tonight. That dress looked familiar to me. I thought it might be Valentino Haute Couture. It certain looks like it. And it certain looks like the one Anne Hathaway was supposed to wear to the Oscars before her final-minute change into the pink Prada to avoid conflicting with Amanda Seyfried, you remember?

The World's Most Powerful Female Billionaires: Oprah, Tory Burch, Laurene Powell Jobs, Miuccia Prada

Money equals power, or so the saying goes. And the do two go snugly hand-in-hand for the 14 women on our Forbes Power Women List who happen to be invoiceionaires. (Or in the case of Melinda Gates, married to one.)
Of the 100 women on this year's FORBES Power Women List, 13 are invoiceionaires. Melinda Gates, the 14th of this group, is not technically a invoiceionaire herself. But as wife of the world's 2nd-richest man, invoice Gates, we are giving her a pass here.

With Cara Delevingne as tinheritor leader, welcome to the new-gen Rat Pack...
Forget the Rat Pack or the Primrose-Hill set, the young and infamed crowd have a new name - the Burberry Wild Bunch (BWB). With tinheritor hard-partying, scruffy ‘n' sexy tresses, and amazing designaler threads, the socialites have been chosen by the 157-year-old fashion house to keep the brand looking edgy. And it is worked!

Lindsay Lohan Sued by Clothing Company

DNAM Apparel Industries, who Lohan sued in January over $1.1M in allegedly unpaid royalties, claims 'Mean Girls' star breached tinheritor 2008 contract.
Lindsay Lohan first sued California-based DNAM Apparel Industries in January over an alleged $1.1 million in unpaid royalties and sales. Now the company behind her 6126 clothing line claims it was the actress who who breached tinheritor 2008 licensing deal.
An apparel company that claims Lindsay Lohan skirted her duties with the 6126 clothing line's counter-suing the oft-rehabbed starlet.
The “Mean Girls” actress first sued California-based DNAM Apparel Industries in January, contending the company owed her $1.1 million in unpaid royalties and sales.
But DNAM claims Lohan is the one who breached tinheritor 2008 licensing deal when her personal life unraveled with legal issues that led to both jail and two stints in rehab in 2010.
DNAM says its first collection with Lohan was “very well received” in early 2010, but then the 26-year-old starlet spent two weeks behind bars in mid 2010 for violating her driving-under-the influence probation and was fresh out of one court-ordered rehab when a soiled drug test landed her at the Betty Ford Clinic in September 2010.

'Fat' Abercrombie Ads Are A Brilliant Response To CEO Mike Jeffries
Posted on Mon, 20 May 2013 17:37
we are certain we don't must reintellect you about the Abercrombie & Fitch's CEO's not-so-popular preference for selling his clothes exclusively to "cool," "handsome" folks (and not "larger people," as industry expert Robin Lewis proposeed). Unsurprisingly, numerous customers found his outlook offensive, and even celebs like Ellen DeGeneres and Kirstie Alley have given tinheritor two cents on the matter.
But we think we may have found the best response yet in a blog post by Jes M. Baker of The Militant Baker. The blogger addresses Jeffries in an open letter, taking on the executive is initial remarks and subsequent ill-received public apology.
"The only shit you have done through your remarks (about thin being beautiful and only offering XL and XXL in your stores for men) is reinforce the unoriginal concept that fat women are social failures, worthless, and undesirable. Your apology does not change this."
Baker takes her argument a step further by posing in a series of mock Abercrombie ads, aptly titled "appealing & Fat," along with mannequin John C. Shay. The black and white snaps feature the blogger in one of the brand's logo t-shirts, posing like the sultry mannequins we are accustomed to seeing on Abercrombie is bags, magazine ads and invoiceboards.
"I challenge the separation of appealing and fat, and I assert that they're compatible regardless of what you believe," Baker states in her letter to Jeffries.
To which we say: Get it, girl. With this set of stunning, satirical images shot by Liora K Photography, Baker captures much of the public discourse surrounding Jeffries' "exclusionary" and so-called "sizeist" sentiments. Check out the photos below and tell us what you think. What effect do you think these "ads" will have?
