 Madonna & Her Kabbalah Kids Posted on Thu, 17 May 2012 20:20  It was a day of worship for Madonna and the kids. The family visited the Kabbalah centre in New York City on Saturday (May 12). Mercy, 5, wore mostly black with white ballet flats while Lourdes, 15, had on a short red floral printed dress with green jacket. David, 6, looked very summery in white. ( Shalom aleichem ) At the end of this month Madonna is kicking off her world tour. The first one will be in Tel Aviv where Lourdes is expected to make an appearance on stage. They then will stop in Abu Dhabi, Istanbul and various European cities. The North American leg of the tour begins on Aug. 28 in Philadelphia. The Wall Street Journal reports the tour is nearly sold out. Prices range from $45 to more than $350. Duly chastened, Pop Chips removed the ad. comic Hasan Minhaj, himself of South Asian ethnicity, didn't think this sufficient and issued a video response bfinaling Pop Chips: The Huffington Post also wrote an article about Minhaj's response: "One common reaction to the ad's use of stereotypes, both on Twitter and in remarks, has been, “How is this any different than Sacha Baron Cohen doing ‘Borat'?” Minhaj's response was decisive: Borat isn't in foreheadnface. Twenty years after leaving the hit show, Victoria Jackson is back in the highlight, but this time it is for her political views. She is now a controversial conservative remarkator and she is in Middle Tennessee taking a critical look at the Islamic centre of Murfreesboro. Victoria Jackson is best known for her dim-witted characters on Saturday Night live which brought her a lot of laughs, and fame. (lol rite.) She now works as a citizen journalist. "i am trying to use my fading SNL fame to shine a light on the topic that nobody in the media will talk about," said Jackson. That topic is Islam. Jackson came to Middle Tennessee to produce a narrative on the Islamic centre of Murfreesboro and its new mosque now under interpretation. The comedian-turned- conservative political activist does not mince words about why she thinks this building is rising in the middle of rural Tennessee. "This is the Bible Belt, and Murfreesboro is the buckle on the bible belt. And it is a college town. So my feeling is they came here to transform people to Islam," said Jackson. Jackson brought her camera to the current Islamic centre offices in Murfreesboro -- but no one was available for an interview. No luck either at the interpretation site just external town. Jackson did recently interview Congressional candidate Lou Ann Zelenik for her story. Zelenik has been an outspoken opponent of the mosque. Jackson claims there is a fatwa , or Islamic decree ,calling for her death because of her criticisms. "I tolerate all religions. apart from the ones that want to kill me," said Jackson.
