Those were the golden years when singers like rafi ravi mukesh kishor hemant manadey talat mahender and many others gave this world immortal songs with sweet melodious voices They all flowen to different world. I wish they take birth again but fore me hĺ uď j re panchi

Bird fly away, this is not your place any more. Years are gone, this song has remained my favorite because it tells the story of my journey. I was not even a teenager in 1957 when it was released, one migration was already behind me. That migration literally consumed millions, coincidentally just 7 years later I moved again, then 5 years were like whirlwinds. After that I remained like a tumbleweed. Today when I was planting another tree on my property I was thinking how it describes my story. Soon I wil leave this behind again. I thought, this was my destination. Nature told me NO. Someday I will translate it. Very few will fathom the depth of this song.

Oh Rafi Sahib, take another birth;the vacuam can never be filled;y'r songs are still as fresh as decays of years ago.Bhul Ja Ab Wo Mast Hawa... How scintillating!!!

This song gives us very good message...Since infinity we are moving from one life to another..Most importantly in past we have died without cutting our own connection with the world we were living...Awake your self, if this world is going to be cut off, why not I should renounce it! TUNE TINKA CHUNKAR NAGARI YE BASAI! THE ARCHITECH OF OUR BODY IS MY SOUL ONLY..IT IS GOING TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE.. THESE BODIES HAVE BEEN NARRATED AS 'DESH HUA BEGANA'! MAKE YOUR SOUL FREE FROM BODY BUILDING, AIM MOKSHA!

Dear Abdul Qudus, I have no words to comment here after reading your relating this song to your own life. One thing, only one thing I will mention here: life was so beautiful that time, with all problems of poverty, misunderstandings of family life & relations, still we longed for love, affection, respect, understanding, the moments of happiness that rarely crept in to life after hardship of a full day work or weeks, months of suffering; we still respected each other; our bhabhies were highly respected and loved persons; now with the modern age of technology, human feelings, earthly beauties, the nature's gift all are being forgotten by humanity, runing after fort [false] that finally make one sick of life's pretentions. I have nothing more to scribble than just say, thanks and wish you good feelings to be remaining with you. God bless you and family. I am told of the meaning of this great song by a Pakistani colleague of mine while I was working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who I will never forget, as Sheikh Sayed sa'ab was so touchingly used to narrate me the meaning and situations of the old great Hindi songs of yester years. Abdul Qudus sir, see you somewhere in the corridors of time, if God permits.

I am indeed suprised!!This is one of the very few songs about which the comments refer to this I mean that there is no reference to someone's religion or nationality. This I find refreshing as the song is one that takes thew senses the way, I am from Trinidad. Thanks a million to the uploader.

Years ago I was in Sindh, we could see the dark clouds; we knew what is ahead. We had to migrate once more from a place we thought was our home. This was our song which expressed our feelings. We requested this frequently while sipping tea in the cafe, I could not afford my own stereo system. All the friends are gone. Today I am playing it all over again, the only difference is, I am sipping wine, and my flight is coming to an END.{This is a warning to the birds, to leave their nests & fly away, because their time is over}. I hope PPP & Jiye Sindh terorists are happy.

Such a beautiful song that expreses the pain of separation. Someone dear to us wil leave us or we have to leave that is dear to us. That is the ultimate truth of life. We wil look back at those precious moments but to cherish without getting a chance to relive them. " kya bata ab is nagri mein kab ho tera ana"": may be never .
