TechCrunch Disrupt kicks off in New York City in about 3 hours. So naturally i am sitting in a bar in Iceland.
Why? Well, the entire story is kind of long and numerous parts are probably more appropriate for a Paul Carr book than this post. But the keyword is "Grimsvotn".
Yes, it just so happens that a giant volcano under Vatnajokull (Iceland's largest glacier) decided to give us the biggest eruption in over a century on Saturday. apparently, this um, disrupted, my Sunday flight to New York City. So here I am.

It looks like 'The Biggest Loser' might have found another new trainer. According to reports, tennis star Anna Kournikova will join the NBC fitness show next season.
Kournikova will join new trainers Cara Castronuova and Brett Hoebel as the show undergoes major changes in the wake of Jillian Michaels' departure from the hit show, X17 Online reports. Michaels announced her decision to leave ultimate year in order to focus on starting a family.
An official announcement regarding Kournikova's role on 'Biggest Loser' is expected after the show's season ultimatee on Tuesday.
Kournikova, who recently put her $9.4 million Miami mansion on the market, is surely no unusualr in the fitness world. A tennis player all her life, she debuted at the U.S. Open when she was just 15 years old and was named ESPN's Hottest Female Athlete in 2002.

But others -- including her family, First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Babyface, Bono, Barbra Streisand and her 'unmarried Ladies' producer The-Dream -- also weighed in on the lessony rise to success of Beyonce Knowles over the past decade during the intro video to the singer's 2011 invoiceboard Music Awards performance on Sunday night.
"i am very proud of the women she is, the role mannequin she provides to so numerous women and I truly congratulate her tonight on all her success," Michelle Obama gushed, before Beyonce received the evening's highest honor, the invoiceboard Millennium Award.
Proving that she is worthy of the accolades, Beyonce followed up with a state-of-the-art performance of 'Run the World (Girls)' -- the lead unmarried from her forthcoming album '4,' due this summer.

Actress Jane Seymour said she was not at all surprised when news of Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child became public and went on to say that she was aware of more children that the former California governor had external of his 25 year marriage.
Seymour told CNN that she was not even surprised when she heard the news of Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's separation. "I was not even remotely surprised. The second I heard it, that there was an announcement of tinheritor separation -- he was apparently jumping the gun before everyone else told the world of the news."
The former 'Bond' girl also went on say, "From what I gather, I think there will be lots of information coming people is way."
And then Seymour dropped the bombshell. "I heard about two more [out of wedlock kids] somebody else knows about. I even met someone who knows him well."

Tesco's wholly owned subsidiary Dunnhumby has acquired Boston based BzzAgent for around $60 million, we have confirmed. The companies will announce the acquisition today but isn't disclosing the terms of the deal. And no, I didn't make up any of the words in that first sentence. This is just how companies name themselves today.
BzzAgent was originally founded way back in 2001, and bootstrapped itself until 2004 when it raised a $750,000 angel round. In 2006 they added another $13.8 million in funding from General Catalyst and Flybridge. they've 64 full time employees, and another 200 contractors managing the BzzAgents.

The Mirror is reporting that Fox executives are trying to bring up the prodossier of the relatively unknown British singer and TV star and they've bluntly asked her to dumping Hough is the place to begin with
A source is quoted saying why breaking up with Hough may be the correct decision for Cole, "Derek may be dreaming of worldwide stardom but he is seen as a small-time dancer on a TV show... and pretty uncool. TV executives are thinking that if she is going to win over Hollywood, she'd be better off doing it as a sassy and unmarried girl-about-town."
The source continues, "Show producers mustld her that being unmarried would do wonders for her image. And there would be no scarcity of guys in LA lining up to go on a date with Cheryl."

After a long and memorable season of 'Celebrity Apprentice' it came down to just two. Either Marlee Matlin or John Rich would be fired by Donald Trump, with the other fitting the fourth celebrity winner in the most popular format of the reality staple.
apart from, the Trump decided to do something a little differently this time around. Rather than fire one of them, he simply declared a winner. Was this a statement as to how much he respected the person who came in moment, or just him trying something new?

Princess Beatrice is fascinator, which she wore for the Royal Wedding, has been auctioned off for over $130,000.
E! Online is reporting that the (in)famed hat, which was put on eBay for auction, was sold on Sunday for a staggering £81,100.01 (approximately $131,000+).
The money raised through the auction will be donated to UNICEF UK and Children in Crisis through Princess Beatrice is Little Bee Initiative crusade.
The proud new owner of the Philip Treacy creation wasn't revealed, as eBay said that the winner was an nameless tenderder.

All the stars of popular music came out for 'The 2011 invoiceboard Music Awards', where they saw Justin Bieber and Eminem dominate the night with six awards asneak peek. Other big winners included Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Mumford & Sons, Taio Cruz, Taylor Swift and Usher with three awards asneak peek.
The night was filled with memorable performances as well, including Cee Lo Green floating through the sky at a piano and Britney Spears and Rihanna in a sexy duet that climaxed in a lingerie pillow fight.
Beyonce received the invoiceboard Millennium Award, while Neil Diamond was given the Icon Award and then promised to "Google it correct after the show and find out precisely how an icon is supposed to handle himself."
