Dropbox Grabs Another Googler, Ramsey Homsany, For Exec Role

Storage startup Dropbox has hired Ramsey Homsany as it is General Counsel. Homsany is a long time Google lawyer. He joined the company in 2003 and was most recently the deputy general counsel of the commercial group. The 100 or so internal lawyers that reported to him dealt with Google is various commercial and partnership relationships.

That experience is what Dropbox needs correct now, CEO Drew Houston told me today. The company is inking lots of partnerships, for example. And enormous growth is on the way.

"Hundreds of millions of people will be moving tinheritor tough drives to Dropbox in the coming years," says Houston, "and we'll be pioneering a new legal and policy frontier."

Biz Stone Steps Back From Twitter To Relaunch apparent With Ev Williams And Jason Goldman

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone took some time to blog today a bit about his past. He goes back to Xanga, then Blogger/Google, then (though not directly mentioned) Odeo. He talks about how after they failed to sell Odeo, Evan Williams made apparent, a parent company with the purpose of buying back Odeo from its investors. Around this time, Jason Goldman, another preceding Blogger/Google guy, joined them. Among the assets of Odeo was a little side project made during a hackathon, called Twitter. remainder really is history.

But Twitter didn't catch fire instantly. Instead, as it slowly began to grow within apparent, Stone, Williams, and Twitter creator Jack Dorsey decided to spin it off as its own company, Twitter, Inc. And as all of them, including Goldman, began to spend more time on Twitter, apparent faded into the background. Until now.

After his reminiscing, Stone announces at the backside of his post that he is going to be taking a step back from Twitter to re-team with Williams and Goldman (both of whom recently left tinheritor full-time duties at Twitter) to re-start The apparent Corporation.

When Ryan Phillippe is ex-girlfriend, Alexis Knapp, emerged with an apparent baby bump, the rumor mill began churning and it was not long before she was insisting the baby was his. TMZ is reporting today that the two have been spotted out together, grabbing coffee before going into a Los Angeles doctor's office together yesterday.

The twosome split in September of 2010, and when Knapp announced she was pregnant she claimed her former flame left her high and dry with medical invoices and subsequently hired a lawyer.

While Phillippe has yet to take a DNA test -- he is going to wait until after the baby is born to avoid the risk of any pre-natal complications -- PEOPLE magazine reported that if the child is indeed his, he will completely be involved in the child's life. A source told People, "Ryan is aware of the situation [and] completely prepared to take responsibility should the child be his."

With Knapp's due date rapidly approaching, it looks like these two have found a way to coexist.

Tia Mowry Welcomes a Baby Boy!

Tia Mowry is the proud mom to a bouncing baby boy, Us Weekly reports.

'The Game' actress and her husband, actor Cory Hardrict, welcomed tinheritor first child on Tuesday, tinheritor rep confirmed. No name has been revealed.

Mowry and Hardrict announced they were expecting in January through a joint statement. "we're both so excited to be parents. we've been wanting this a long time!" the couple said.

Earlier this month, the actress celebrated at a baby shower thrown by her 'Sister, Sister' co-star and real life twin, Tamera, as well as her 'Game' co-stars.
