Is Halle Berry Headed Back to the Small Screen?

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry could be coming to a small screen near you. it is been reported that she is attached to star in a drama project currently being shopped around pay cable networks like HBO and Showtime.

According to Deadline.com, DreamWorks TV has sent out a spec for the project -- entitled 'Higher Learning' -- to several pay cable networks, and is hoping for a quick decision. Details are sketchy correct now, but the TV drama would see Berry starring as a college professor.

The script was written by 30-year industry veteran Lee Rose, who was queen of TV films in tinheritor heyday during the 1990s. Since then Rose has worked as a director and producer on series such as 'Weeds,' 'Related,' 'Haven' and 'Greek.'

Berry got her TV acting start in 'Who's the Boss?' spin-off show, 'Living Dolls,' in the late '80s, before moving into guest spots on series including 'A Different World' and 'Knots touchdown.' She came to prominence with her starring role in the TV miniseries 'Queen' and remainder, as they say, is show commerce history.

RockYou Buys Studio 3 Blokes To Build Social Combat Games On Facebook

RockYou is continuing its acquisition strategy today with the purchase of Australian social game developer 3 Blokes. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2006, 3 Blokes has developed four social games for Facebook, including tinheritor most recent title, Galactic Trader, a space trading and combat game with 200,000 monthly active users. The acquisition also bring RockYou a number of talented and seasoned informal game developers. The studio is led by George Floafer, a former COO of EA's Asia Pacific Studio. John Passfield, precedingly CEO of 3 Blokes and now VP of Creative for the studio, was precedingly Creative Director at Pandemic's Australia studio and co-founded Krome Studios.

it is a girl for Joey McIntyre! The New Kid on the Block singer and wife Barrett welcomed tinheritor first daughter Tuesday aftermidday, according to PEOPLE.

The proud poppa broke the happy news on Twitter.

"Kira Katherine McIntyre was born May 31st at 12:30 pm PST. 7 lbs., 3 oz., 21 in. A beautiful baby girl with fantastic timing and gorgeous hair," McIntyre tweeted.

The newest addition to the family joins big brothers Griffin Thomas, 3, and Rhys Edward, 17 months.

McIntyre announced his wife was expecting baby number three final December.

Act-On Software, which offers a cloud-based online marketing platform, this morning announced it has closed $10 million in Series C funding from Trinity Ventures, roughly half a year after securing $4 million.

Two weeks after Miramax announced a major content deal with Netflix, the studio this morning announced that it has also struck a multi-year agreement with Hulu to bring hundreds of films, including Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Scream and The English Patient to Hulu Plus subscribers. Hulu will offer select films via the advertising-supported Hulu.com service to boot.

Launching today, Hulu Plus subscribers will be able to watch Miramax films in HD (when available), with no advertising interruption.
